Hey, Seattle NHL Tweeps! Are you ready?
Hey Seattle! It’s almost time for some playoff hockey! Don’t forget to make your way down to Buckley’s In Belltown to check out the action with some of your fellow Seattle hockey fans. There should be street parking around the restaurant, so no need to pay.
We will be in the “Green Room”, which should hold us very comfortably and which also has a dedicated TV and sound system. Buckley’s has also graciously agreed to give us Happy Hour prices for the entire evening, so take advantage of the drink specials.
If you decide you want to tweet (it is a tweetup, remember) make sure to bring a device to communicate with. I will have my phone/camera and will be taking and submitting pictures of our event throughout the duration.
For those of you that do attend, the NHL has graciously sent us goodie bags, which I will be distributing during the evening. Also, there will be a raffle where one fan will win a subscription to NHL Gamecenter for the 2009-2010 season! Yet another reason to be there!
I will be getting there around 4:30 PM tomorrow to make sure everything is in order. I promise, you won’t be able to miss me (just look for the bright red Wings shirt.) Awesome idea! Glad to see Seattle is represented in the NHL Tweetup, even though the NHL has yet to grace us with a team. Oh well…the Everett Silvertips are a more than suitable replacement!
